Help!
My cistern water is all mucky and it smells bad!
|
Call Mike’s Sanitation, Inc. for
professional, thorough cleaning of your cistern. |
We will need to know the following when you call to schedule an appointment
to have your cistern cleaned:
What are the approximate dimensions of the cistern?
What is the water level in the cistern?
(*It is best to have the water
level at or below 6 inches when cleaning a cistern. If the water
level is more than 6 inches, we suggest that you pump it down
with a sump pump onto your lawn or wait until the water level is
lower to have the cistern cleaned.)
Will you be able to pump the water level down prior to our
arrival?
(*You can save money by having the water
level pumped down before we arrive. We can bring a sludge pump
along to pump the water only onto the grass or
down a storm sewer. We will not pump the sludge onto the yard or
down the storm sewer. The sludge is brought back to our E.P.A.
approved Wastewater Treatment Plant for disposal. If you prefer
to have us dispose of the water at our plant, it will be more
expensive due to pumping time, hauling and disposal.)
Where is the access hole for the cistern?
(*Is it under a garage, under a room of the house, or
outside, etc.?)
What type of access hole does the cistern have?
(*A manhole cover, basement window
etc.?)
