     • Pumping it down with a sump pump onto your lawn.

     • Waiting until the water level naturally decreases to 6 inches or less before scheduling the cleaning.

3. Will you be able to pump the water level down prior to our arrival?

   • You can save money by reducing the water level yourself. However, if you need assistance, we can bring a sludge pump to pump the water onto your grass or down a storm sewer (not the sludge). The sludge will be transported to our EPA-approved Wastewater Treatment Plant for proper disposal.

   • If you prefer that we handle the entire disposal process, including the water, additional charges will apply for the pumping time, hauling, and disposal.

4. Where is the cistern located?

   • It is essential to know whether the cistern is:

     • Under a garage.

     • Beneath a room in the house.

     • Located outside.

   • This information helps us determine the logistics and equipment needed for access.
